GPS Spoof Fix

GPS Location Not Changing in Apps

iGlide says “Connected” and you clicked Move Here, but the GPS in your apps still shows the real location. Here's how to fix it.

Most Common Fix

Force-close the target app on iPhone, then reopen it while iGlide is still connected. Apps cache the GPS signal and don't refresh until relaunched.

Troubleshooting Steps

  1. 1

    Verify iGlide shows 'Connected'

Make sure the iGlide app shows your device as Connected and the map is displaying. If it shows disconnected or error, reconnect your iPhone first.

  2. 2

Click 'Move Here' after selecting a location

Selecting a location on the map is not enough. You must click the 'Move Here' button to apply the virtual GPS to your iPhone. The status in iGlide should confirm the location was set.

  3. 3

Force-close the target app and reopen

On iPhone, swipe up from the bottom (or double-press Home) to see the app switcher. Swipe up on the target app to close it. Then reopen it. The app will now read the spoofed GPS instead of the cached real location.

  4. 4

    Verify with Apple Maps

Open the built-in Maps app on iPhone. If Maps shows the virtual location you set in iGlide, the spoof is working. If Maps still shows your real location, the GPS change has not applied — restart iPhone and try again.

  5. 5

    Check app location permissions

Go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → find your target app. Set it to 'While Using' or 'Always'. If set to 'Never', the app cannot read GPS at all.

  6. 6

    Restart iPhone and reconnect iGlide

Disconnect iPhone, restart it fully, reconnect to iGlide, set the location, click Move Here, then open the target app.

  7. 7

For game apps — use the IPA version

If you are trying to spoof GPS in Pokémon GO or Monster Hunter Now, you must use the modified IPA version installed via Sideloadly. The App Store version has anti-cheat checks that prevent GPS spoofing from working.

App-Specific Notes

Pokémon GO

Must use the PoGo IPA (not App Store). The App Store version detects GPS spoofing. After applying GPS in iGlide, close PoGo completely and reopen.

Monster Hunter Now

Must use the MHN IPA. Same as PoGo — close and reopen the app after setting GPS in iGlide.

Apple Maps / Google Maps

These apps respond immediately to iGlide GPS. If Maps is not reflecting the virtual location, the spoof is not active — check iGlide connection.

Social apps (Instagram, Snapchat, etc.)

Force-close and reopen after setting GPS in iGlide. Some apps cache location for hours — reconnect iGlide and reopen the app.
